The Seattle Office of Economic Development is accepting applications for the 2023 Only in Seattle Initiative grant program. The program includes $1.2 million in funding, which will support neighborhood business initiatives, especially those related to equity and social justice. Grants will be awarded to neighborhood-based nonprofits, business organizations, and community groups. Businesses may benefit from the projects started by these groups. Or you can work with a sponsor organization to apply for project funding. The deadline for current OIC partners is October 18. New applicants have until October 31 to apply.

HOW TO QUALIFY
Eligible applicants can be business organizations, community organizations, cultural districts, consultants, or a collection of individuals that are supporting neighborhood business district strategies. To receive an award, there must be a legally constituted entity that meets the following minimum eligibility requirements. If the applicant does not meet these requirements, they can have a sponsor organization to accept and manage the grant funds on their behalf (fiscal sponsor).
