Grant Amount: $500
The KAB Give Back Grant program seeks to counteract the injustice and inequality in the healthcare system through financial aid for BIPOC women who are survivors or diagnosed with breast cancer.
The grant cycle provides $500 grants to all selected grantees.
GRANTS CAN BE USED FOR:
Medical Treatment (hospital bills, mental health, co-pays, rides, etc.)
Alternative Care (acupuncture, massage therapy, etc.)
Financial (rent, utilities, groceries, etc.)
Business (investment in your own small business)
Essential Self Care (Time off, vacation, meditation retreat, spa day)
The application deadline is Septhember 15th
Grants will be chosen by a diverse group of 3 breast cancer survivors who are not affiliated with or paid by KAB.
HOW TO QUALIFY
Anyone who is a BIPOC woman living in the US who has been diagnosed with breast cancer or is a breast cancer survivor may apply.
